GOD'S INCREDIBLE INSECTS!

Evenings July 18-22, 2011

At Vacation Bible School in 2011, we will be gathering God's kids to discover an incredible God through His true Word and amazing creation... GOD'S INCREDIBLE INSECTS!

Children, ages 4 to entering 6th grade are invited. 

VOLUNTEERS!  We need all gifts and talents to help us pull VBS together every year.  Please sign up in the narthex of church or else email Velva Yonker at yonk814@sbcglobal.net to find out where you can be used.

VBS CANVASING WILL BE TAKING PLACE ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 29 FROM 5:45 PM TO 7:15 PM.  VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!  SIGN UP ON THE TABLE IN BACK OF CHURCH.

VBS STAFF MEETING WILL TAKE PLACE IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE CANVASING.  ALL STAFF NEEDS TO BE THERE.

VBS CRAFT NIGHT WILL BE MONDAY, JULY 11, AT 6:30 PM.  VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!!

 

 

Dates for 2011: Monday-Friday, July 18-22 evenings

Evening Schedule: beginning at 5:30 p.m. (registration starting at 5:15 p.m.).  Parents can pick up their kids at 7:50 p.m.  SUPPER WILL BE SERVED.

There will be a short program Friday evening at 8:00 p.m. for the kids to sing their songs and tell their parents, grandparents and friends what they've learned at Bible School.

Past VBS Themes:

In 2003, "Under Construction," a Habitat for Humanity VBS that challenged us toward service for Christ's Kingdom.

In 2004, "The Race Is On," learning about Jesus Christ as the Way, the Truth and the Life.

In 2005 we were "Upward Bound," going to new heights in learning about Jesus.

In 2006 we look at God's creation and His plan for salvation through "Genesis 1: Space Probe."

In 2007 we went on a "Summer Seaquest," discovering the God who saves through the story of Jonah.

In 2008 we took the summer off.

In 2009 we celebrated the the "King is Coming!"

In 2010 we discovered "God's Amazing Trees"

Typically we have used curriculum from Great Commission Publications or VBS Reachout Adventures.
