Pastor Chad became the full-time Co-Pastor of Central Avenue in September of 2004. He had previously served as Intern Pastor here since December of 2002. Pastor Chad graduated from Calvin Seminary in 2004.  His ordination was September 19, 2004.  Central Avenue is Pastor Chad's first charge.

Pastor Chad typically maintains office hours Monday afternoon and all day Tuesday through Friday.  Saturday is his regular day-off.

Pastor Chad and his wife Rachel have three young children, a daughter, Elleh, and two sons, Henry and Leo.  Click here to see pictures of their family.

Pastor Jim has served as pastor of Central Avenue since 1998. In November of 2004 he became a half-time Co-Pastor. He has previous served churches in Hills, MN; Willard, OH; Grand Haven, MI and Niekerk (near Holland), MI.  He graduated from Calvin Theological Seminary in 1971 and was ordained on September 23, 1971.

Pastor Jim generally maintains office hours Monday-Wednesday each week.  However, being half-time, those days may vary week-to-week.  Friday is his regular day-off.

Rich became Music Director at Central Avenue in June of 2004. He directs many music groups including the Chancel Choir.  He previously served as choir director in Ohio as well as with the Holland Chorale.  He also currently directs the Zeeland Civic Chorus and their annual performance of Handel's Messiah.  Rich has also been a voice instructor at Hope College in addition to being an accomplished soloist himself.  He graduated from Taylor University and Ohio University.

Rich does not maintain regular office hours at the church, but is usually here Wednesday evenings during the church year for the choir's practice time.

Rich and his wife Mary have three grown children.  Rich is also employed as a designer at ITW-Drawform in Zeeland.

Sue has served as Church Secretary since 1997. She handles a great deal of the administrative and publishing functions of the church.

Sue maintains office hours at the church Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.  Items for the church bulletin are due at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and for the Central Channel the second to last Sunday of the month.

Sue and her husband Steve have three grown children and two grandchildren.

After helping out part-time for several month, Dick took over the role as head custodian on February 1, 2010.  He coordinates the daily maintenance and up-keep of the main church building and grounds.

Dick and his wife Pauline have three grown children.
